Kong has deep roots in Silicon Valley, so he implements a lot of ideas and strategies seen by the best startups in the world. Growing up in a poor family, he has an unrivaled drive to succeed. Kong takes the high risk, high reward approach to almost everything—though his personal philosophy is that what most people think of as “high risk” is actually “low risk”.
Jesse is the co-founder and CMO of Jumpcut studios. His passion lies heavily in figuring out what makes people "tick". Ever since starting viral content marketing in 2011, he's been involved with projects that have amassed hundreds of millions of views. Jesse is an idea man. Give him 30 minutes and a piece of paper and you'll likely have a million views. His main goal is to help talented people reach their potential by providing them with direction and insight into the world of viral marketing.
Peter is a graduate of Yale University and an former Bainie. He works as the COO of Jumpcut Studios to help shape the future of digital content as well as create the next great media company for men's lifestyle. In his spare time, he likes thinking about organizational design, reading books and blog posts by Ben Horowitz, and watching the Oakland A's lose in the playoffs every year.
After graduating from USC film school and running a few of the largest YouTube channels in the world, I joined Jumpcut because it has allowed me to scratch my creative itch. I have a unique opportunity to pitch ideas and execute on them to the tune of millions of views and worldwide press coverage.
Bo was originally a Electrical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, but somewhere along the way realized that his love of software and the web was much more than a hobby. He has since attempted to get 3 of his own ventures off the ground and is a huge advocate of start-ups. Bo's end goal is to change the world for the better and he feels technology is the way of today. As a strong believer that each person must take responsibility and be proactive to improve their lives, he believes pick-up is the start to all of it.
Transitioning from working on satellite missions with the University of California: Los Angeles, Nick has focusing his attention on tech startups. Previously Nick was product engineer with SchooLinks, rebuilding the entire website in a small team over several months to cater to an international userbase. Now Nick seeks to understand trends within Jumpcut Studio's network of users to build more responsive and tailored experiences.
Boston bred, Los Angeles raised, James has a history in music video editing. He has worked with a diverse group of artists and creators to develop a sharpened sense of pace when it comes to editing content. New to the Jumpcut Team, James hopes to help bring this company from big to bigger, one project at a time.
Kel hears "can you make this?" every single day and she absolutely loves it. She has always been a maker of all things, ranging from newspaper designs to makeup packaging, masking tape murals to storefront designs, promo graphics to hypothetical theme parks. She's the on-board designer for all things visual, aiming to give Jumpcut the greatest visual presence possible. Beyond work, she's an oyster-chewing, list-loving bookworm.
My name is Bijan and I have always resonated with the messages Simple Pickup preach. Since coming down to LA to work with the team, I have contributed towards one of their flagship programs, Project Go as well as begun to brainstorm ideas for a brand new product in the making. My goal is to provide as much value that I can in an attempt to help guys all around the world with any problems they may be facing.
Connor is a Junior at Dartmouth College majoring in Economics and minoring in tech start-ups. During his first year at Dartmouth, Connor helped found a SaaS start-up and honed its product offering, marketing plan, and vision. Having discovered his passion for innovation, Connor joined the team as a business development intern excited to disrupt the men's lifestyle industry. Now, he is currently leading the implementation of the company's paid advertising strategy, as well as a complete overhaul of the website's purchase funnel.
Matt is a SoCal native who’s always ready to get his hands dirty and get sh*t done. To Matt, Jumpcut Studios is like being part of the team that wants to put a man on the moon. Matt is a production/office intern who's accomplishments span from having a key role in some of the most viral videos on the web to helping hopeless romantics winning over their dream girls. He is part of the amazing team responsible for over 21+ million views from the controversial "Fat Suit Tinder Social Experiment" to the fan favorite "Get Her Number Wearing a Dog Shock Collar.”
James hopped the pond from the UK to the US in search of like a minded creative team, with ambitions to create content that can reach millions. Since joining the team James has launched our viral Vine channel to gain over a million views in under 3 months, and creatively harnessed the power of social media to drive thousands of dollars worth of sales with 6-second long snapchats.
Kenahn has always been interested in video production. From the age of 7 playing with his parent's camera, to doing freelance videography in high school, and finally the age of 19 when he moved to LA to kickstart his career. Since working with Jumpcut studios, Kenahn has worked on Simple Pickup videos like the Tinder Social experiment, and Kid Pickup. He's also fully involved with production on the channel Drunk Tech Review, and is on track to doubling the amount of subscribers in just under one month.
